Experienced Contents Restoration and Cleaning Technician

The Whole Show Restorations Inc is seeking a Contents Restoration and Cleaning Technician to join our restoration team. This is a full-time position and also includes participating in an on call rotation. The Whole Show Restorations specializes in property restorations. We work with insurers and loss-adjusting firms to restore flood and fire damaged properties back to original condition. Our employees are dedicated claims handlers and restoration technicians who collectively strive to reduce the insurance claim life cycle and support business and homeowners during this stressful period. This is a customer-facing role that requires the Contents Restoration and Cleaning Technician to undertake physical cleaning and restoration work as well as meticulous record keeping. Contents Restoration and Cleaning Technicians carry out physically demanding tasks and heavy lifting on a daily basis. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate the following competencies during the recruitment process: - Experience in property restoration, deep industrial or residential cleaning or other restoration work such as furniture is preferred but not required - Able to complete physically demanding work, including heavy lifting on a regular basis - Friendly, personable and able to take control in difficult situations - Meticulous record keeper with an eye for detail - Ability to follow detailed processes and procedures - Ability to adapt to change and "think on your feet" - Understand the importance of communication in a team-oriented environment - Valid driver's license and operating vehicle - Able to pass a criminal record check - Able to participate in an on-call rotation - Attentive to personal grooming - Reliable The Whole Show Restorations offers year-round employment, competitive wage, group health and dental benefits, life insurance, long term disability and employee assistance program.
