We're hiring an Office Administrator! We're a fast paced and rapidly growing electrical contractor based in Tofino., and we're looking for someone to join our team. Professional construction company whilst maintaining the family-style ethos. * Salary: $15 - $20 per hour depending on experience * Hours: 30-40 hours per week * Schedule: Flexible * Start Date: Immediately * Benefits: Full Benefits package after probation period. Job Details: - Minimum one year in an office environment, however training is provided. Role: - Carry out daily administrative duties, working under the guidance of our Office Manager - Complete payroll bi-weekly using our accounting software. - Daily employee interaction: Benefits packages, vacation requests etc - Enrolment of new hires - Generating purchase orders and tracking invoices and payables - Working within our construction software; PO's, timesheets, customer information, invoicing. - Client interaction; Receiving job requests, generating and submitting invoicing - Review, evaluate, and implement new administrative procedures - Receiving material deliveries and tracking Skills: - Must be proficient in the following; Microsoft Excel & Word. - Self starter: Ability to manage their own time and workload accordingly - Experience of Quickbooks is an asset - Excellent written /oral communication required. - The ability to work unsupervised is essential.
